2006 100 mejores empresas para trabajar en la Unión Europea

The fourth annual list of 100 Best Workplaces in Europe was announced by Great Place to Work® Institute Europe on 17 May 2006 at an Award Event in Berlin. The list was published in the Financial Times on 18 May 2006. All 100 workplaces are recognized for their effort to create a high-quality working environment. The organisations are listed in alphabetical order. The Top 10 highest scoring organizations are marked in bold. The overall winner of the 2006 List is Colgate Palmolive from Greece.

Of the companies represented on the annual list of the 100 Best Workplaces in Europe, five are chosen to be recognised for demonstrating “best practices” related to the five dimensions of the Great Place to Work® Model© within the following categories:

•Credibility: Best practices for Internal Communication (Irma, Denmark)

•Respect: Best practices for Work-Life Balance (Stopgap, UK)

•Fairness: Best practices for Diversity Management (British Gas Business, UK)

•Pride: Best practices for Involvement of Employees in Corporate Social Responsibility Activities (SMA Technologie, Germany)

•Camaraderie: Best practices for Creating a Fun Place to Work (Google, Ireland)
