2009 Las mejores empresas para trabajar en Portugal

A List of 30 Best Workplaces in Portugal in 2009 was produced by Great Place to Work ^® Institute Portugal and was disclosed by the newspaper Diário de Notícias, Jornal de Notícias and TSF radio (among other media such as RTP and SIC).

The first in the ranking was won by Microsoft, which in various categories by size are the Accenture (over 1,000 employees), Cisco (between 101 to 250 employees), the Cushman & Wakefield (less than 100 employees) and Microsoft (between 251 to 1,000 employees). Nuno Duarte, Director General of Microsoft Portugal received from the hands of the Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity, José Vieira da Silva and Sandrine Lage, CEO of Great Place to Work Institute Ireland, the distinction.

This year Special Awards were also given by the Minister stressed that "the innovation of the Great Place to Work Institute Portugal in organizing the event which every year presents a new angle of approach. "This year was the Social Responsibility, which is something that has to do with the dynamics of institutions themselves," he said. Also the prize for the Best Company to Work for in Portugal for young people and women were referred by the Minister as "one of the greatest challenges of our society." The Institute has, as in previous years, the Best Company to Work for Women - Liberty Seguros; for Youth - Everis Portugal, and for Executives - GMS Consulting. As part of CSR and Leadership and Training for Sustainability, the awards were, respectively, for Accenture and Microsoft. Another novelty was the prize of Best City to Work (Oeiras) where the majority of this list of organizations and more satisfied employees.

Liberty Seguros, Diageo, Everis, Matutano, Mars Portugal, Thomson Reuters, BMW Portugal, PrimeDrinks, GMS Consulting, Janssen-Cilag, Medtronic Portugal, ROFF, PWC, PT Contact (Évora), SAS, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Deloitte, HP , Cadbury, Ativism, ByCom, Re / Max, HUF, Barclay's, BNP Paribas and José Júlio Jordão are other organizations in various sectors of activity within the ranking of 2009.
